Bay Strings Quartet

FINE CHAMBER MUSIC FOR ALL OCCASIONS

Our many years of successful wedding music planning afford you the luxury of trust, knowing that

we will provide the best in musical entertainment. We will work for you to make your event

memorable and unique, putting your mind at ease about one of the most important aspects of your

special day. Our music specialists will guide you to create the perfect setting for your wedding.

Our repertoire covers the spectrum of all eras, from Renaissance music of the 1600s to

contemporary popular pieces. Specialists in wedding ceremony and reception music, we offer

an outstanding choice of music for each aspect of your event, from the ceremony to dinner and

reception music.

Equally at home with contemporary popular music, our ensembles can set the mood for the

cocktail hour. Although we are not a dance band, we have danceable tunes, including waltzes and

tangos that fulfill the need for the first dance or a short set of dances. Our contemporary popular

selections span the spectrum of movie music, society tunes, show music, classic and current, all

of which add an uplifting spirit to your affair.

All types of wedding ceremony and reception venues are possible. Whether you are planning to

have your wedding at a church, synagogue, hotel, historic house, restaurant, private home or

garden, on a yacht, either indoor or outdoor, we can adapt to the location.

Bay String ensembles include:

The string trio — 2 violins and cello

The flute trio — flute, violin and cello

The traditional string quartet — 2 violins, viola and cello

The flute quartet — flute, violin, viola and cello

We work with many fine trumpet players who add the flair of a bridal fanfare followed by

Processional music with the string group and, at the conclusion of the ceremony, recessional

selections.

We can accompany a vocalist of your choosing, which requires a rehearsal ahead of the ceremony.

(Depending on the complexity of the piece to be accompanied, there can be a charge for arranging

pieces not already in our repertoire.)
